Which is recommended: Parallel or Triangulated 4 link

I've been reading the forums and trying to figure out which would be the best solution for my 55 second series truck. I don't necessarily want to lay frame but to get it down low, ~3" off the ground which I'm going to notch the frame to allow the ability to have the maximum drop if needed.

I was told that the Parallel 4 link would be better than the Triangulated, what do you guys recommend? I've been looking at Twisted Minis wishbone and wondered if that would work with my shockwaves or should I go with the Air Ride setup.

I'm leaning towards the Triangluated 4 link...

I'm no expert, but with a properly setup triangulated 4link the axle will center itself properly, but with a parallel you will still need something else to center the axle such as a watts link or panhard bar. Also a parallel 4 link will bind more with axle articulation.

A narrowed 9", thus the parallel bars need to sit inside the frame.
