93 C1500 Short Box

Just kind of fell into this truck. Originally from Texas and is in great shape for now residing in the midwest. It's to cowboy for me with the wheels/tires. I want to lower it 5/6, cowl hood, debadge, dechrome, roll pan, new front bumper, grill, remove blue crappy tint and spray an implement paint or single stage. I like the battleship grey color. Trying to keep this a budget build. Looking for some experienced input on most cost effective way to lower it, wheel size etc etc. Once the 4.3 fails I will swap with a 5.3.
