How hard 2 remove core support????

I want to remove the core support on my 86 and was wondering if the fenders have to come off? Stupid question????

no it unbolts. the bolt to the fender are on the inside 4 one eash side, youll unbolt the 3 bolt the hold the inner ender to the support, and ull find one bolt to the grill side above the top. Also ull have to take out the lower valance it 4 bolts 2 on each side. hop this helps

I got the one pulled from the suburban without taking them off this afternoon. I guess I will go ahead and pull them when I take the ones off the truck so I can respray the inside of them and paint the inner fenders.

That is what your fenders are attached to, headlights, grille, radiator, hood latch, etc.

I suppose you could, I left my condenser there when I took mine off. Had to remove my radiator as I was replacing it.

Kind of a pain in the ass to leave it in honestly.

if you just disconnect the lines to the condenser and radiator you can leave them in there and its not a ton more weight but the core support is kinda bulky and I would be worried about damaging the radiator while moving it..
