Re: Bench Seat, Having it Reupholstered

Just curious. Do you ever recover any other style seats? I've been looking for a bench seat with the fold down middle seat, drink holder on the back of the seat.

Re: Bench Seat, Having it Reupholstered

Just got another bench seat to restore/recover. This one is a super nice candidate.

I'll be taking it apart to restore the seat rails and taking off the old cover. If your wanting a seat done, let me know. Color choices are listed in the above posts.

Although this seat is sold, I will be doing more as seats come available. Just let me know what style & colors. Colors are listed above in posts #12 & #13.
I purchased this seat from TKCR. Her attention to detail is unbelievable and she is a great person to deal with. Well worth the road trip I took to meet her.
I am super happy with my new seat (and hood).
Buy with confidence!

Thank You for your review!! I'm glad you made home safe & sound with your seat & hood. It was certainly very nice to meet you in person. Can't wait to see the seat with your new interior.

Re: Bench Seat, Having it Reupholstered

Picked up 2 more bench seats to strip down and restore/recover. Already have them completely torn down of the old covers, foam, trim parts, and tracks. Working on restoring frames and tracks for paint. I'm planning on investing in a sand blaster and start working smarter, instead of harder!!

Re: Bench Seat, Having it Reupholstered

Got a couple of sets of tracks cleaned, blasted and painted. The set to the far left is before restoration, as with the photo in the above post. The other 2 sets are the finished tracks.

Re: Bench Seat, Having it Reupholstered

This one is going to Tennessee for a customer. Black Vinyl Deluxe.

Tracks were restored, new seatbelt & hinge garnishes. It needs the warmth of the SUMMER SUN, it would help with her wrinkles.

Re: Bench Seat, Having it Reupholstered

Wrinkles are settling down quite a bit from the pic in the above post.

This seat is SOLD to a customer in Tennessee, meeting today at my brothers in southern Ohio. I will be getting a core seat in return from the customer, along with the Tan Suburban seat in the above post that my brother picked up for me.

Re: Bench Seat, Having it Reupholstered

Here it is. I still need to install the seat tracks & hinge garnishes.

Frame & Seat tracks were restored, (surface rust removed & repainted).
Tracks lubed for better slide. All springs lubed also.
New Hinge Garnishes & Seat Belt Hole Garnishes.
New screws for the garnishes.

I haven't done buckets yet. And I have been searching around and can't seem to find any replacement foam. Also looking at other interiors, are these seats original to the truck?
