Almost had my truck on the road

I had my 70 shortbed truck ready to go for new exhaust system and was going to start driving it, but found a problem with the motor. I had just bought a 99 tahoe with a vortec 5.7 for parts, so I'm swapping motors. I'm going to change intakes, add a carb, HEI (with melonized gear), and electric fuel pump. I will be hooking this to a TH350 with 3.07 rear.

I have a lot of questions with the serpentine drive, which I would like to use.

1. I want to install a vintage air system after I do the bodywork. Will it work with the compressor that came on the 99?

2. Will the 99 alternator work?

3. Will the power steering work pump with my original PS, and/or with a red top?? quicker ratio power steering box?

I'm trying to get this truck just running and driving cheaply so I can work on my 69 C20 long bed, then back to the 70 for bodywork and interior. Any advice on serpentine would be highly appreciated

Thanks in advance
