After years in garage transformation begins

Here is my first truck 68 stepside bought it when I was 15.Been in my garage for years.

We are sorta in the same boat.

My 72 swb stepside has been in my garage for 10 years, 8 of which I just stepped around it. Mine also has a lot of rust and rear springs.

I have the front end off and I'm currently working on the heater. Good luck!

nice truck 10 ring.Northern New York puts down alot of sand and salt in winter.Does a toll on stuff.

Thanks. Oh I bet NY is tough.....I drove up through there last April on a VT ski trip. Beautiful country! Stopped for gas in Maryland, NY and the pump was analog. Had a sign "pump first and then pay."

Well its basically original 250 which I rebuilt in boces in 1990 3 on tree.When it was parked it was rolling on 31 in tires,kind of made it look like 4 wheel drive,so I think a drop is in order.I do have a99 Chevy engine but i really like old school

ok fed ex just dropped off inner cab corners.So floor pans are tacked in,rockers inner and outer tacked in and also cab corners its starting to take shape

Tires,drums are off now I'm deciding to go crazy or keep it fairly original...I also own a 67 stepper my grandfather bought new.
