just got back my bbc from builder

just wondering what to set the valve lash on a 800 inch solid roller cam i was told 16thou on cold set what should the timing be set at

Do you have the cam card? It should tell ya there. If you don't have it, you should be able to find specs on the mfg. website by part number. I know Comp lists their specs online. The one in my friend's BBC pullling truck is a Comp mech. roller at just under .800 lift- it specs .018 cold on both int/ exh.

Timing... lots of info needed to call that

its a 555 bbc big m dart block with 12 to1 ross pistions h beam rods 4340 crank dart 360 heads that flow 405 cfm crane 800 lift soild roller cam belt drive crank trigger brodix intake that was port match to the heads 1050 dom with 88 jets in it i cant find the cam card

sorry i can't help you with your question but this motor sounds like a monster. Wats the estimated power from it.

thanks i had it dyno at deavon racing they built it for me it run 1400 hp at 8300 rpm think of run 2 stage nos 350 1st shot 250 2 shot
