They are thicker than original. I wonder if they would scratch the paint on the door seal.

The guy that makes them has a set on his '63 and I think they clear just fine.

Having the wedges made from Delrin instead of a steel on steel contact. Plus having something new instead of reconditioning a rusted up OEM piece that is often quite worn.

That is a ware item for sure. mine were worn pretty good. If i remember right you can flip them over and switch them from d/side to p/side? Or i used some metal filler lol. Wish these were avl then.
