Re: the blazer is back....

Deadhead, that's definitely a very pretty Blazer you've got there.

I wonder how the new one would look if you took a Sawzall to it and removed the roof...

Re: the blazer is back....

Might be a nice vehicle, but definitely not the utility vehicle that Chevrolet began producing in 69.

Re: the blazer is back....

Is it me or does it look like a camaro stretched into an suv. Even the interior is similar.

Re: the blazer is back....

It's sad how Ford hit the nail on the head with their Bronco concept and we got this. To be honest I don't think newer SUV's with 2 doors look that great, they all remind me of a Suzuki side kick. I understand our classic K5's were 2 door but if I'm buying a newer SUV I want 4 doors.

Re: the blazer is back....

When they started making 4dr SUVs and ext cab pickups is when all the other people started buying them, which is what lead to trucks and SUVs being what they have become today . Certainly not for those at the utility end of life.

This was my family vehicle, what I bought my wife when she graduated nursing school in '89. Back then the other mothers and coworkers referred to it as a truck, usually with 'big' in front of it.
