Sending unit
Hi all. I'm new to this thread. Lost of great info. I have a 1
70 c10 that originaly had a 292 but now has a 383 but if I want the original gas gauge to work correctly I need to get the l6 sending unit right? |

It depends on what you have now. The sender and the gauge are the same except there are 2 different size fuel outlets on the sending unit. It will depend if they ever installed a V8 sender with the larger fuel outlet or not. I'm thinking a 383 May starve for fuel if it's got the smaller fuel line. Not sure.

Thanks guys. Someone along the line must have put the bigger sending unit in because it has the bigger fuel lines and has no problems with it starving for fuel.
