extra wide rear wheelhouses

Does anyone know where I can find extra wide rear wheelhouse for 67-72 wide bed pickup? I've seen them on trucks before and they look exactly like the factory ones except that they extend inward all the way or close to all the way to the frame. Have had no luck finding them so I figured I would put the question out there.

Thanks
Jon

Re: extra wide rear wheelhouses

I think most people make them. Take two sets and cut them apart to weld an additional band between the two halves. This way you could adjust them to your liking.

Probably not terribly difficult to do... I was thinking about doing it too.

Re: extra wide rear wheelhouses

Yeah I wanted to stuff a set of 325/50-15 tires on the rear. Thought I could just buy a pair if they made them, but like you say, I could fabricate my own if need be. Thanks

Jon, too bad you're not a little closer, I'd gladly give you the section that I cut out of mine!

Re: extra wide rear wheelhouses

That's ok BossHogg69, like CC69Rat said, the worst case is I could just buy another pair and make two from four. But the piece you cut out of yours would have been perfect
