1964 292 piston ring question.
I'm currently in the process of rebuilding a 1964 292 for my dads 1964 c10 LWB. The block is overbored 0.030, other than that it's a stock rebuild. All new internals. I'm at the point of installing the piston rings onto the piston heads. After I verify ring end gap, I'm ready to set the end gap orientation on the pistons. Can anyone verify that this diagram i have drawn up is correct for what I'm trying to do? If someone knows of a better way or if this info is old and outdated I'm open to opinions and facts. Thanks.

Re: 1964 292 piston ring question.
Thanks for your input. I agree with your thinking. I just wasnt sure if it matters whether or not it's an online engine, V-type engine, etc.
