Looks like the rear hatch might be broken.

I love the patina though. I'd drive and enjoy as is.

I've got to agree, that is in nice original shape.
It's good to see them before they get beat to death or without the 33" tire and weldathon roll bar routine.
...its nicely optioned out as well, I wonder what it will go for?
All Good

Nice truck at a fairly reasonable price. I love it when they haven't been all butchered up over 40 years.

Pics are hard to decifer, but looks legit from what I can see. Most of the top surfaces are burnt off (typcial desert car) with possibly some mild surface rust showing. Again hard to tell in the picture. This one really deserves and up close and personal look over.
Looks like 40 year old patina to me.

Is there something you see that makes you think different?

Re: An original '72 Jimmy on ebay

I love this Jimmy...

From what I can tell the paint looks legit aside from the driver's side front fender. There some orange to red shading that is throwing me for a loop. lolife99's SWB is this same color (or close) and over the age of the paint it turns out to be a real nice color even after 40 years.

The hatch looks to have some cracks running up from the bottom to the glass.

Would like to see some under carpet shots around the kick panel area and in the rear.
