proportioning valve question

Hello all,

So I'm nearing the end of rebuilding a dana 44 front and 60 rear for my 1972 Jimmy to loose the 3.07:1 gear ratio I hate. The HD44 is out of a 1975 K20 and the 60 is out of a 1969 F250 and has a sweet dana power lock in it. I'm keeping the rear HD drums on the 60 for economy sake and ease of parking brake. I have new stock rotors and calipers on the front 44 out of the K20. I also have a new one ton booster and master that seems to be a common upgrade here. I know the lines are backwards on the 1 ton set up but my question is can I use the stock proportioning valve as I'm staying with a disc / drum combination?

Thanks in advance
