WEEKEND Progress

Anyone that has read my threads knows my seating situation was very precarious when I bought my Blazer. Well this weekend I finally had enough parts to start my project, front seat area had some older repairs, nothing bad, a little welding time and all is well. Dreaded starting on back seat because of the disasterous shape the legs were in, figured I wouldbet putting in a new floor. Believe it or not, a rear seat had never been installed. Little plugs in all 10 holes. All I have to do is weld up the 4 holes PO drilled to hold the seat in. Anyone have a suggestion how to knock out the plugs without totally destroying them.

Special Props to Teeitup and VT Blazer, thanks to you guys Mama's redhaired baby is much safer.

Are they plastic or metal inserts?
If plastic, I'd say try to just knock them through.
If metal, check for how they would have been installed...allen key maybe?

If they are metal inserts, soak 'em good with some P-B blaster first.

Good luck, glad your ride is safe/correct now.
