Yeah, we had a thread about two weeks ago or so. Can't remember who started it, maybe he'll see yours and point you to it.

I just bought a replacement kit from GMC pauls. I haven't put it in yet though. I still need to paint it and figure out a electric fuel pump solution for my upcoming MPFI install.

I'll let you know how the fit is when I get'er done.

thats the one I ordered, from GMC Pauls. I already have an electric fuel pump set up with my current tank(PO made an extra capacity tank), but the tank is way too big with a stock bumper. Electric fuel pumps are the only way to go! No pumping of pedal trying to start!

Is you electric fuel pump in-tank or external? Are you running EFI or carberator?

I'm running external fuel pump with carb. Runs great. I pump is mounted at rear of truck, out of sight near tank. I ran with a qjet, then recently installed a edelbrock with no issues or overflow.

[QUOTE=2wdBlazer]How quickly I am forgotten.

Sorry 2wdBlazer, old age is wreaking havoc on my brain cells, or maybe the alcohol.

I ordered an internal pump from Tanks Inc. for my TPI swap. It gets shipped on Thursday (probably won't be here in time for the weekend). I'll be trying to fit it into my stock tank. I'll let you know how it goes.
