Man, that is a beautiful truck! Great build. And those 35's and different wheels make that truck IMO! It looks great!

Re: 1969 1 ton 4x4 build

It's amazing how a nice set of wheels can make of break a car/truck. The new wheels look sweet, I've always liked the way long beds look when they're lifted. Very nice looking truck.

I'm not a fan of green vehicles but your color combo looks way fine to me.

Re: 1969 1 ton 4x4 build

You have a beautiful truck!I am building something similar,I am builiding a 71 GMC from 2 wheel drive to wheel drive 3/4 ton.I am using a 78 3/4 frame and running gears.Did you use your 2 wheel drive frame, add springs, crossmember or did you use a later model frame?I was just curious of how you did yours,it turned out to be a beautiful truck!

No, I found 69-72 frame for 50 bucks, all 1 ton running gear is from a 81... thanks for the compliments..... This truck is up for sale now, time to move to the next
