rear bumper

I'm parting an 86 burb that has a rear bumper and factory receiver in really good condition and I want to put it on my 85 K30. Will this fit using my 85 step bumper brackets or is it a burb only bumper?

Re: rear bumper

I can’t give you an exact answer to your question. But, I did put the rear sport bumper off of a Suburban on the rear of my ‘87 R10 pickup without issue. I removed a step bumper. I used 1 of the suburban brackets and had to ‘modify’ one of the others.

Re: rear bumper

That's the look I'm going for! At least now I know it is possible, I doubt if the hitch is going to fit, but I'll pick up a new one. Thanks for the response. Dave

I put my receiver hitch back on and it fits and looks good.

Re: rear bumper

I took the rear bumper, brackets, fillers and hitch off the suburban last month for a buyer on CL, but he fell of the face of the earth, glad he did now. I'll get out to the shop this Weekend and see what's what, I'll post the results. Thanks, Dave
