K10 frame

I have a bent K10 frame and have not been able to locate another one. Is a C10 frame similar where I just need to mount the front spring hangers ?

Re: K10 frame

Not sure this helps, but for 64 to 66 K10 trucks, they used the one ton frame. Do not know, if this carried over to 67 to 72,

A good source of information that will have answer is the “ GM Heritage Center” you will have to search a little to get to the year specific truck information. Maybe a search here on GM........., will provide an detailed route of how to get to year specific truck information.

Re: K10 frame

The 67-72 4wd frame uses the 1ton rear leaf spring spacing, but not the 1ton frame. A leaf spring 2wd frame is what you’d want if you’re going to be converting a frame. The trailing arm trucks rear frame dimensions do not lend themselves to a leaf spring conversioN. I have a 1 ton leaf frame in the yard with the 4wd spring hangers put on to convert it.
