update on my 59 apache

well the auto trans is in and it runs great..but the automatic trans really shows how bad the 4 wheel drum breaks are...so i ordered a front disc break kit with the booster from brothers yesterday, they have them for 20%off. i also got the tapered bearings..this should make me stop.
i am really thinking i am going to airbag the truck that is why i didnt go with the m11 front yet. i just want to get it safe to drive for a little while then will make my decission on the suspension.
anyone done the breaks that can share how bad it was or wasnt. how long should it take. brothers stuff seems to be real quality so far and they say the kit is complete from booster to last bolt on the rotors..
thanks
dave
p.s. i will take pics of the break install and post them up

Thanks for the update, I can't help much as my set up couldn't be more different. Good luck on it and I look forward to the pics.

I think there are a whole bunch of us that are anxious to see this happen. The best part of winter is the opportunity to upgrade the hotrods. At least thats how it works here in the frozen tundra. Don't forget to keep that camera handy.
