Hickey or Con-ferr style center console steel

Gauging interest on a remake of the seldom seen Hickey or Con-ferr style center console steel. Its been remade in 1008 grade cold rolled 18 gauge steel. The latch is stainless secured with a padlock like the original. Upholstery for now is still being quoted, but will be extra. Powder coat will be black. I can do these shipped for $300. I'll be posting a for sale add when they are ready. Just let me know here if you would like one.

Thanks the center is open but can easily be customized. I can send it out raw and you can have it done locally or you could send a drawing and I can do it here then I can powder coat it for you too.

Also just got upholstery quote of $150. I'll post pictures as soon as it comes back from the shop. This is for a complete covered top: wood, 2 types of foam and better than real faux calf skin leather material. So total would be $450 shipped for a complete unit Or $300 for the powder coated unit without upholstery.

Re: Hickey or Con-ferr style center console steel

I'm in for an upholstered version - can I have one done in a color other than black? Looking to match an OEM dark green interior. LMK what options are possible including green powder coat box with black upholstery.

Does the upholstered base rest upon plywood like the original?

Thank you! Pete
