66' 3 Point Seatbelts_B Pillar Plug... - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Has anyone dealt with these plugs before? From what I've found, some of the 66's have the plug in the B pillars and some have the threaded nut. I'm not totally sure how to remove this plug so I can get my belts in. Any info would be greatly appreciated!!

I got it! Couldn't tell if the plug was metal/if there was a threaded nut on the other side and didn't want to damage anything, but I pried the darn thing out and discovered those BEAUTIFUL threads...I'll post up pics of my extended weekend project

Post a pic of where it is at with a measurement or two if you can. My 66 has been upholstered on the full interior and I have belts coming. This will help me find it if it has one before I pic a spot for the new hole.

Thanks. Well looks like I wont have a problem hitting the old hole. Looks lie the used it to center up the hole for the speaker.

Older thread, what are you using for shoulder belts? Also what's behind the hole? I'd like to add shoulder belts and am thinking about a 1/4 plate with a nut welded to it put in from behind.
