54 3600

There's a new addition to the family since Friday. This 54 is nearly all stock, her original color is dark blue, but everything else has remained unmolested.

Re: 54 3600

Since it's nearly all original, I think I'll keep it that way. I really want to lower it slightly, and it will need some body massage and paint, but since it's been painted already some years back, I don't have any heartburn with that. I'm also really excited about the wood bed, since it is gone, but everything is in impeccable shape, I can't wait to put that back in! There are some maintenance things that I want to go through like brakes, suspension parts, clutch linkage, to be sure it is all sound and reliable. Also the fuel system, the tank has varnished fuel in it, so I need to drain and clean it to see if it can be refurbished or needs replaced, as well as replacing all the hoses, all hoses for that matter. Once it's in good running order, I'll start looking at some of the little body imperfections and get this thing ready to take paint again.
