April Fools

Do any of you have any funny but harmless April fools day pranks? This is a pretty clever bunch, so you probably have some good ones.

Left this on my laptop . Wife walked by and growled about the bimbo on the screen . Told her to look real close at the picture . I was slapped on the shoulder . She knew what day it was ..

I can't say. It'll be totally spontaneous if anything at all. With me it's always something verbal, not a physical prank.

Re: April Fools

I pulled one years ago, when we were still fairly newly married. My wife made some brownies (she's an excellent cook) and put them in the cupboard. I put a fake mouse on the plate when she wasn't looking. I heard her scream, and I thought that was pretty funny... until she threw the brownies in the trash. Yes, she knew the mouse was fake, but I learned my lesson.

Remind me not to go to lunch with you.

Although that sounds like something I'd do.

A "practical joker" deserves applause for his wit according to his quality. Bastinado is about right. For exceptional wit one might grant keelhauling. But staking him out on an anthill should be reserved for the very wittiest.

Re: April Fools

This one may not work right now with everything that is going on but.....

I was elected to go get lunch one day. Go grab a sack of burgers they said. So I went to the local diner and got a dozen burgers. I took a bite out of 2 on the way back and wrapped em back up and stuck em back in the bag. Then when I got back I grabbed a soda while everyone else grabbed burgers. One guy managed to get both burgers with a bite out of them.

Re: April Fools

I dunno. I think the greatest prank on Earth, in my mind, will forever be the salt & pepper gag at a restaurant. But who's sitting down at one of those tomorrow? I guess it's time to do it at home. It's best because it always works and is relatively harmless. I was shown the trick when I was a kid by some bad influence type and it ruined me!

You know the drill. Remove both caps, place paper napkin over shaker openings, depress, pour salt in pepper shaker and pepper in salt shaker, screw caps back on, tear excess napkin away, place in normal location and wait

That's a new one on me -- but it reminded me the other trick, which I saw one time years ago. Unscrew the cap on the salt & pepper shakers and leave them sitting loose on top.

I got totally nailed when I took my daughter to lunch and went to shake up the mustard on the table.

The top was unscrewed and mustard went all over the place. It was on the wall, on the table, and it was all over me. I was wearing a brand new white Nike t shirt that became a shop rag with mustard stains on it after that.

My daughter thought it was hilarious...I didn't. That shirt was expensive.

It's hot as anything in India, and the disease is on the increase. I consider the statements about hotter weather being essential to a decrease in the infection rate premature. Man, I hope that I am wrong.
