Has anyone had success finding new hinges for the second row seat back? I talking about the piano style hinge that bolts to the floor. Mine is tweaked and the pin is broken. I've google it several ways and been unsuccessful.

Not sure you will find one already pre-made, other than getting one from a boneyard. You could always order a stainless steel (blank, no pre drill holes) and make one yourself. Be sure to order the correct style of hinge.

I did look into buying a new piano hinge but the factory hinge is a different width on each side of the pin, (at least mine is) thus making it even more work to install. I was hoping someone had already crossed this bridge before me. I have found it difficult to locate a square Burban in a wrecking yard here locally.

I got a tip from a buddy about a 73 Burban at the Pick and Pull in Vancouver. I loaded up some tools and headed over. Sure enough there it was and after removing the trim plate (Which was straight but suffering from pretty heavy oxidation.) I found the hinge to be undamaged. But the 73 hinge was bolted to the seat backs with 5/16" Phillips head screws. Which due to my poor planning I didn't bring any very large Phillips screw drivers. The other seat (1976 I think) picked up used hex head bolts for both sides of the hinge. I had to head home with only the trim plate and return two days later with better tools (impact driver and drill). The Phillips head screws were rusted and only four of them came out with my impact driver the rest I had to drill the center of the screw and then the impact driver was able to twist the heads off.
On a side note the the Burban was a Cheyenne Super with the wood grain side panels, but the thing I had never seen before were emblems on the rear quarter panels about 8" in front of the marker light that said "Estate". Is this rare or am I just unaware of this trim package. The glove box door was missing so no SPID was available.

I've heard of the Estate Edition, I believe it was built for Canada. I was reading about them somewhere on the forum. Maybe do a search, something should show.
