Thumbs up Vintage Lev-L-Lite Model B4 Headlight Aimers

I have been looking at these for off and on for over a year now. I finally found a full set with owners manual and won them for a whopping $35.00!
With the 56 Bel Air,64 SS Impala ,67 Ramp and 71 C-10 all having round lights I figured it was worth it plus it's a cool piece of automative history! Now I just need to learn how to use them to get the most out of my light's.

After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: Vintage Lev-L-Lite Model B4 Headlight Aimers

WOW! I have (maybe still) one of those parts, the little device in the last picture. I never could figure out what it was. I always thought it was some kind of surveying tool, but every surveyor I worked around had never seen one. Last time I saw mine, my grandkids were playing with it. I do have the case (what's left of it) and some directions:

I'll have to look around and see if I can find the actual tool.

Thanks great write up for sure. I saved it for future use. Anybody tell me what this part is?
I flipped the picture and blew it up on paint and it looks like a ground level piece to take care of the floor if it's not level. Maybe.

I found the owner manual on the net! It goes through the whole process of the alignment! Has pictures and all you need to align your lights with the kit.

Those are what we used to use in the assembly plant.

One of the last steps before rolling of the end of the final line.

I got them yesterday and plan to use them today trying to get the lights on the ramp truck done. I carried the ramp over to my friends shop yeterday and installed his new wheels & tires on his all factory Lemans with 3 dueces that he built 4 speed Hurst edition. I'll get pictures today as I start the tilt column change out in the ramp truck today.

Question Re: Vintage Lev-L-Lite Model B4 Headlight Aimers

Does anyone know how the light meter is suppose to work? I can't find any info about it. I put it in front of the Impala lights but it doesn't do anything. I hooked to my volt meter to read continuity and it moved a little and beeped so I know it's all connected.
