nv 4500 to 208

hey guys. i have a '94 4x4 dually that i am removing the engine to install in an m1008. 1008s have turbo 400 & 208s but the dually has a 4500. of course the dually transfer is a left hand drive & the 1008 is a right hand drive. my question is can the 1008 208 be mated to the dually 4500? sure would be nice to have o/d in that truck, especially with 4.56 axles. thanks!

try it but if worse comes to worse you can swap parts between the two 208's to make the m fit cause the guts are the same

IIRC unbolt the B/W from the dually and bolt on the 208. It will bolt right up.
