Cool to see the era of these plates as I have quite a few Iíve picked up over the years. Most came from an estate sale where apparently the owner worked at a GM dealership as many are still in plastic. Hereís some of them.

I remember reading somewhere it was 1976. That was a bicentennial year so the red white and blue was added for the occasion. I can't confirm this with any documentation.

Thanks. That was my guess but havenít seen anything to confirm. I wonder if GM/Chevrolet has a museum that might document something like these plates....
