Anyone use Quick Disconnect on Power Steering hard return line?

So i am in the middle of installing a hydroboost in my truck and i have it all mounted and ready and now i am running all the lines. I am running all Stainless Steel Black Nylon covered -8AN PTFE lines and fittings and I am at the point of how best to connect the return line from the "Y" Block with the two low pressure return lines to the Hard Line (return line) from the Power Steering pump. I thought i read that some have used a quick connect fuel connector at this spot, onto the hard return line. I have searched and cannot find where it was discussed using one. Has anyone done this? Trying to keep it all AN fitting if possible.
Thanks for the replies.

Worst case you could do a Barbed-to-AN fitting, with a short run of flex tube connecting the two. Not ideal. I wish more PS pumps had threadable backsides for the return line.
