Re: small back window glass

It is not flat like older trucks, so if you were going to have one cut I don't think it would work.

Mine is out and measures at exactly .25", however, as stated, the glass is not flat, but rather domed.

Cheers, Jim

im aware of that I just wanted to buy the lexan before I removed my glass and have it ready

its a street/strip truck that is getting lexan so itll easily bend and flex if needed

Re: small back window glass

But laminated glass does flex some. I know I have put flat glass in a 56 I chopped years ago, not a problem.

I think the key word here is "domed". It is curved in both directions which would be hard to achieve with a flat piece of plexiglass.

But it's not, the original had a slight curve, I put flat glass there, done deal. It curved a bit flexing and it was done.

Yeah the curve is only slight so I could see where a flat piece could probably work. I didn't realize they are curved until I pulled an original one from a parts truck I had.

Re: small back window glass

The rubber gasket will flex some, and glass can flex some, but when the glass is flexed it has stress and will brake easy.
