best way to store tires??
I have a junk truck that i want to keep the tires on. I will be keeping them in the attic and was wondering if there was a way that i could prolong the shelf life of them...

Re: best way to store tires??
tires has expiration dates on them
tires over 5yrs are no good, this is why i check the tire numbers myself when buying tires, they sell tires that could be over 5yrs old other than i keep mine stack up dry cool place

Re: best way to store tires??
attic is just about the worst place to store tires//excess heat in attic accelerates the decompostion of the tires

Re: best way to store tires??
I was also going to say I would think the attic would get pretty hot and not be so good on the tires. Mine are stacked up in the basement and the garage neither gets sun or that much heat.
