FS Blank tags for 71-72 chevy's

I had these made several months ago for a truck that I had. The original one was lost and I had these made. I had to get 20 made so now I have extra. I'm asking $20 each to your door. A place called datatags.com said they would stamp one for me if I had proof of ownership, ect. for the truck. These are very nice and are made of aluminum. I thought I would give you guy's first chance before ebay. Thanks.

I was looking at some tags I had and this one is closer to a 72 tag. 71 seems to use the full word "identification" in the vehicle ident at bottom.
Havent looked at a pile of them yet but it was something I noticed.
Hope those that get these use them for legal purposes.

mine will be, i have the original vin plate for mine, its been painted over a couple of times and you can't get the crap off without removing the factory inking also.
but i understand your concern, i can't speak for anyone else but mine will be to recreate the existing vin.

I too have the original vin plate for my 72 chevy but there isn't anymore factor ink because my friend lit the whole cab on fire when he was cutting the cabcorner out to replace it. I'm using the plate stricktly as original plate replacement.

I'm not sure what the difference is. I have not had a 70' truck in several years.
