All you would have to do is put stock wheels and hubs on that thing and it would look like it came off the showroom floor..

Very nice truck, you need to tell us more about it. How far is Layton from Ogden? I'll be in Ogden mid-October visiting a good friend.

Thanks all. It is all original except the wheels and tires and the paint was freshened up. It has the 292 inline with the manual 4 speed synchromesh transmission. It has 49800 original miles. I picked it up from a friend of the original owner and it still had all the original paper work and manuals in the glovebox. Layton is about 15 miles south of Ogden. I hope you have a good trip out this way and we don't get early snow.

As for plans I am not sure yet but I like the stock look and feel of it now. I know the wood in the bed will get replaced and the engine will get all new gaskets and a good cleaning. Maybe even a turbo but I'm not sure yet. But who knows there is some nice ideas on this forum and the more I read the more things come to mind.

Bite your tounge on that snow comment! My buddy Saxon swears there won't be any that early. He better be right.

We shouldn't get any. Its a safe bet, but it has been strange weather and extremely hot and dry so I would not be surprised.

Digging the spotlight!
I've got factory spots on both sides of my Suburban, and I'm going to find another set for both sides of my '62 K10.

Do you hear a lot of wind noise with those rear view mirrors?
