Thanks! Whenever I get this thing done, I plan on trying to make a lot of shows and a few of the Cars and Coffee in OKC.

Started assembly.

Also got the rear end back from being narrowed and built. Moser axles, Yukon 3.73 gears, detroit truetrac, yukon yoke. Hopefully it'll stay together under boost.

Continued assembly

Also made a brake change. Went with the Revelator 14" kit from AZ Pro Performance. These are awesome.

And we're back to a roller!

Roller looks great - too cool that you were able to buy the body back from your old truck!

Re: Project: Boosted Blucille. '70 C10 SWB PB Fab, LS2 S475

Time to get started on the motor!

Got it all painted up and ready for assembly.

New turbo cam for Tick Performance and new Melling oil pump

ARP head studs, LS9 head gaskets, and the front cover put back on.

Got the heads put back on. Upgraded the rockers with a colorado speed trunnion upgrade. PAC dual valve springs. Brian Tooley valve seals.

Got the 4L80 back from being rebuilt. Total rebuild with a transgo HD2 shift kit. They forgot to paint it though smh.

A little silver paint and some new sensors and bam!

Torque converter from Circle D Specialties showed up.

Got em mated together!

And its back in its home. Fingers crossed for the last time lol

Re: Project: Boosted Blucille. '70 C10 SWB PB Fab, LS2 S475

Sent the cab off to the painter. Gonna get a lot of new sheet metal for the floors. New paint on the inside and firewall. Lizard skin ceramic coating and sound control for the floor and underside.

While the cab is at the painter, I wanted to get started on the bed and bed floor. I planned the bed floor out for months in my head trying to get a grasp on how it was going to work. I knew that I wanted a few things out of it: 1) to utilize the original steel floor, 2) for it all to be completely bolt together, and 3) I wanted the center section in between the wheel tubs to hinge.

Started with some 1.5" square tubing and figured out where I wanted it to mount. I though it would be easiest to utilize the factory mounting points.

Then welded the mounting brackets on so the bed floor will bolt down just like normal.

Next, I got the risers tacked on.

Set the structure on the frame and squared everything up before welding the lower mounting brackets on.

Test fit of the bed and floor.

Man I'm so jealous!! I'm still in my 3 month waiting period for my PB stuff. I really like how you did your bed floor. I would love to see more details on how you mount the bed sides and address where the tubs mount.

I have been going over ideas in my head for months on how I want to raise my bed. So many different ways to do it and I would definitely like to have a hinged section like you mentioned to access the air management. Awesome work so far!

Man, I remember waiting on PB parts. It seemed like three months was three years lol I just checked your build thread out. Truck is going to be awesome when you get it going. I'll try to address any questions on the bed floor as I go but if theres something you want/need to know, feel free to ask. The hinged section was something I always wanted to do to mine. Seemed silly not to show off all that bad ass Porterbuilt stuff lol

Just read through your thread. I think it's awesome that you were able to get the old body back. Frame and bed floor mods are looking good. Keep it up.

And look what showed up!!!!

Found a deal on this S480! Guy bought it and changed directions with his build so I snagged this thing up. Didnt waste any time bolting it up either. I was giddy as could be when this showed up.
