Identify these tow hooks

These tow hooks have the part number 16564HC C10A77H16. The look similar to some that I’ve seen on here just a lot flatter across the back? The guy said he thought they were off a 60-70’s Chevy.

Re: Identify these tow hooks

Those are rear tow hooks, traditionally found on C-40 and up school busses and such. Not a huge market for them, but always a cool item that will be useful and a conversation piece.

Re: Identify these tow hooks

They maybe be mounted on the rear of some trucks, too, but those are what you find on the front of most medium duties. The rear hooks GM offered as accessories have a 3-bolt mounting surface.

Re: Identify these tow hooks

They look very similar to these. Which came off the rear of a late fifties F450. I was told they were a factory option for the rear of the frame on big Fords from the fifties. Mine have no casting numbers.
