03 silverado a arm problms

My friends 03 silverado front end is messing up I thought. It was the bearings but its actually the bolts that connect the rotor. To the a arms. There letting. The tire n rotor move top to bottom. Bottom rubber boot . Is ripped up but top is fine . has bout half inch of play in it any one know how to fix that new grease or new bolts? It is 2wd but its lifted Thanks matt

Are you talking about the ball joints? They are the joints between the a arm and spindle. They need to be pressed out if the a arm to be replaced.

+1, sounds like the ball joint are blown and in desperate need of replacement...
