How do I hook up my trailer brake setup on my 94 c3500?

I have a Tekonsha Prodigy trailer brake system that was installed on my dually when I bought it. When I bought my trailer, I didn't ask many questions about the trailer brake setup...I just knew I needed brakes on the trailer. Here's what I got:
1994 C3500 with a 6 pin connector.(I'm using a 6pin-to-4pin adapter for the trailer lights).
My trailer has the normal 4 pin connector with an extra unused white wire hanging from the connector. Then there's the one big wire(it's actually two separate wires wrapped in the same insulation...kinda like house wire). I've looked at the directions from Tekonsha and I've looked all over ebay, but I don't know what I need to make the brakes functional. Can somebody please point me in the right direction? Thanks.
