Nice project! What do you figure your cost will be?
I had Mark at VortecPro build me an engine years ago, it’s been flawless. I’m looking to get another from him to go in one of my K30 duallys. Probably one of these... |

Re: oh boy here we go (454 build)
I don't even want to think about the price. I have been collecting parts for a few years for it. If have to guess i would say little over 5k.
That 467 sure has some cam to it, bet that is a shaker at idle. I thought about going crate but couldn't afford it all at once+ this way I know exactly whats in it and it will be built by me. So when it blows up on 1st start up it all on me.

.
I think it'll do exactly what you want...(tire shredding fun)... Chances of it blowing up on first start are about 1% ... Just don't leave any ports open so a rat or mouse can drop something hard down into it while you aren't watching! lol -klb

I was checking out Marks Videos last night on youtube. He has some really cool videos about making a high RPM 620 Hp BB. Mark really goes into detail about every step he does to make them right. Cool stuff
