Where to put airride tank??
Startin' to install the airride today, I've got the new tank thats 7'' x 34'' 5 gal tank. Where do you guys typically put it at? It's a 71 burb. I'm thinking of putting it behind rear seat, any comments?

On my 68 beater (which is a swb & wood floor), I mounted it to the bottom side of the bed floor. I think behind the rear seat would be a good location.

ASSuming you've got swingarms... you can mount it on either side of the driveshaft under the bed. Even dumped there's lots of room before the swingarms come up.

xxl, thats a great idea, but I got the "new" tank from art. what size tanks are you running and why are you using 2 of em? This one is 7"x35" and I can't seem to find a spot anywhere that it will be unseen and safely tucked away.

The reason I have 2 is that I bought one when I first got the kit (actually I bought the kit with a 2 gallon, which they should never even offer for these trucks), and I got the second one later. They are plumbed together as one air supply. Just outboard of each tank and just inside the frame rail is a steel plate (not yet installed in the pic I posted above) that holds a 315 compressor hanging down. Also on one side is a PAC80 relay to kick everything on. Kenneth
