Rookie needs help with headlights

I just bought a 67 1/2 small back window and I think the head light switch is bad. I have to pull it in and out and wiggle it to get them to turn on. how does the switch come out of the dash. Do I need to pull the dash out to get the switch. Thanks for any help

Re: Rookie needs help with headlights

Sorry about the double post. The high beams turn on the running lights turn on when I move the head light switch to the running lights only position.
