59 Apache FLEETSIDE tailights

My knowledge is 67+ trucks so I'm a little out of my element here...bear with me please.

I am trying to get a 59 Apache 3200 Fleet side back on the road. When I removed the tail lenses I see that all the "guts" are missing from the lights. Most of the front headlight connectors are gone as well. It's like someone pulled the truck apart for paint or something, changed their mind, and just put the tail light lenses and headlights back in place with no connectors. I can take care of the headlight connections, but is there a source to buy replacement FLEETSIDE tail light components? Or do I just go down to the parts house and grab a trailer light kit and get creative. Here is a pic of what I'm working with.

There are no repop tail lights for a fleet side that I'm aware of. They most likely got pilfered for another truck

Lenses and bezels are available... Even led lights. Haven't seen any housings for sale however.

Here is what they look like. Not repoped. Easiest way would be to get an LED assembly with the lense built in and a connector. Replacement wiring pigtails come with the connector guts and seal for the bed hole.

Re: 59 Apache FLEETSIDE tailights

Thanks guys, I think I got the rear figured out. found some small universal trailer housings that worked. I actually have the lenses. I didn't work my original post properly, there were there, just screwed into the bedside lip directly. The housing that OrrieG posted is the part that was nonexistent.

So on to the next question. What would have been the stock headlight arrangement? Low beam only one light on each side, high beam all 4 on??? Inners, outers, etc? I'm basically building a custom harness from scratch. I know a headlight harness could be bought but there's other changes in the mix to deal with not to mention I build custom harnesses for a living so the circuity isn't a problem. I just need to know what they should be doing in hi/lo. Thanks!

Re: 59 Apache FLEETSIDE tailights

Low beam = outer 2, high beam = all 4.

Re: 59 Apache FLEETSIDE tailights

I just rewired my 59 headlamps using an aftermarket harness. Here is a photo that shows the wires required for a two and three lamp socket for each side. Tan is low beam, green is high beam, white is a jumper from high to low, black is ground.

Re: 59 Apache FLEETSIDE tailights

Ok, its starting to make sense. I forgot this truck does have the passenger side intact. So it looks like the tan wire, aka low beam, will have one of the filaments of the outer bulb on. Then when high beams are clicked it would swap to the the other filament in the outside bulb along with the inner bulbs single filament.

This seems to be what OrrieG's reproduction setup does also. So I'll go with that. Thanks guys!
