As we used to say in the Navy, "If it moves lubricate it, if it doesn't, paint it!"

The first time I had to replace an axle u-joint on a K/20 it was a booger of a job getting it out. I took it to one of the mechanics that brought me up to see what he could do. He said hit that thing like you mean it. I told him I was afraid it would break if I hit it any harder. He said what's the difference if he broke it or I did? I did end up needing the use a press.

I can't remember for the life of me who has it in their sig but it always gives me a good laugh when I see it. Truth is that it pretty much describes all of us .

I hear you on losing the #10 socket, WTH is that?

I don't recall who, but the signature for one of our posters reads something like "my father says point distributors are pointless".

SStim once told me "you're going around the block to get next door." Took many years to realize he was right

Re: Funny truck stuff from the board members

I vaguely remember a post from Grumpy, the thread was deleted soon after

Basically someone asked about body sanding, so Grumps went onto explain the different goals and such, which included something to the affect of "you sand, you sand, and you sand some more until it's smooth as a baby's *&(^)^ and then you sand some more."

I think Grump's was in sand mode at the time anyway, complained his forearms were getting too big

Speak of a certain certain individual, just now "I hope he likes the red upholstery, and the diamonds because I'm tired of sewing them in".

paraphrasing

I remember a thread a while back where someone said, “I would never rebuild a 305”. Truth and humor in that statement.
