Yep....aches are setting in....Due to the holiday....the Insurance Adjuster won't be able to look at it until tomorrow, hopefully it's not a total.....I'll get it back in shape no matter what they say...

If they do want to total it, they will generally offer the wreckage back for 10% of the settlement. Ask them to give it back for free. I had a Chevelle destroyed by a red light runner and the adjuster did that for me. He told me how everybody claims they're car/truck was perfect before the wreck instead of the junk pile it really was/is. He said mine was obviously beautiful even after it was wrecked so he gave me a break. Yours is just as obviously in beautiful condition, so they may be inclined to try and help you out.

If the kid has insurance you can push them for the cash to fix it. You can say it has sentimental value and show any money you have put in it. I too would find a short bed and frame. Good luck. I had a truck that got hit and they wanted to total it. I jumped up and down and they let my body guy fix it and they paid the bill.

That is a very nice truck Harold

Do you have any pics of the engine, or more of the interior?

That stepside fender reminds of cars I saw in Puerto Rico about 30 years ago. Some were less than five years old, with so much rust you could drop a basketball through the roof or trunk lid!

17X9 in the back and 17X8 in the front. 0 offset on both. They fit perfectly. The tires I have in the back are 255.60.17 and they fit nicely. There's about an 3/4" on each side of the tire. In the front I have 235.55.17 and they fit perfect too. No rub lock to lock and with the air all the way out of the bags the inner fender rests on the top of the tire.
