'92 4.3 Hot start problems

I have been having intermitment start problems, it only seems to be when it is hot, I have a new Accel distributor, checked everything I can think of the only thing elese it could be is the computer. I have a friend that has a parts '92 w/ 4.3 I am going to try his computer if it is the same. How many different computers were there for the 4.3.
Thanks for your help, Bruce

Is it a starter problem? Is the timing set to zero? Clean the TBI really good with a cleaner. Run some seafoam through the fuel tank.

New starter, cranks over fine, noid light hooked to injectors does not light then let set for a about an hour it will start.
Timing is set right.
TBI is clean.
New fuel pump and filter, tank clean.

Re: '92 4.3 Hot start problems

Well it is not the computer, it would not start this morning and I changed the computer and it still did not start. Let it set for over a half hour and it started. I am getting sick of not having a dependable truck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Bruce

It sounds like a loose or intermitant connection somewhere. If it has a firewall connection block, I'd start there.
