"XTREME FORCE" CONCEPT Barrett jackson

The Chevrolet S-10 Xtreme Force Concept Truck demonstrates what can be done with aftermarket parts, elbow grease and a little ingenuity. It was created so consumers could better visualize the many options they have in modifying their S-10 pickups. Special features include aggressive sportside fenders, PPG Orange Glow paint, GM Motorsports 4.5 Liter V6 engine with produces 450hp and 375 lbs/ft of torque, DANA 46 4.10:1 rear axle, ZQ8 suspension system and BF Goodrich Comp T/A Drag radial tires.

This sounds like it would be a very fun truck to have. It sold for $26,000. It was part of the GM collection. A lot of these concepts were sold this spring.

$26000 is really not a bad price for that.

Re: "XTREME FORCE" CONCEPT Barrett jackson

would the 4.5l be a 4.3l .30 over and what else would it take to make 450hp besides a blower

At first glance I thought this was a stepside, but looking again they added the fenders off a stepside to a fleetside bed. I wish they would have left it a fleetside, I'm not big on the "dually fender look" on a small truck. Take that away, I think it looks friggin' awesome!

Re: "XTREME FORCE" CONCEPT Barrett jackson

My 4.3 is .030 over and 266.34 cu. in. which is 4.4L. The Gm race block is aluminum and comes with a 4'' bore and can be bored to 4.125" and 350 mains (p/n 10134371). Or there is P/n 10134351 that comes with 400 mains and has a bore of 4.177 with a max of 4.125. Both blocks can take a 4" stroke. Gm also has 18* heads that were used in the Nascar Busch series v6 along with intakes for the standard non-vortec heads and race heads.
Here is the review from motor trend.

Re: "XTREME FORCE" CONCEPT Barrett jackson

I remember that truck when they first built it, It was in one of my old mini truckin or truckin mags I used to get.
I wasn't long after that, the extreme series S10 trucks were released.

I think I have the "Truckin" mag that had the article. I think It was a small blurb with a picture from SEMA.
