so i was wondering if anyone out there has a wiring diagram for an 81(i think) gmc sierra grande?? i have to help my buddy rewire his dash cause it's all hacked to isht and he is getting out of the navy here soon and is planning on driving it to ohio. mostly what i am going to need is what wire colors are for the alternator excitor wire, starter solenoid wire, hei dizzy wire so he can start his truck and at least have it to where it can run and charge its self.

i thought that i would ask in this section first since this is the electrical threads. but i don't think that its very important anymore. my buddy stopped asking me to help him. thanks for the effort though.

note: so people don't give me credit were it is not due i did not come up with these diagrams, through my local library card i get free access to an automotive repair reference site that has diagrams for mostly any vehicle, some older ones as well, but not much for anything after 1980-75
