Fuel pump leaking -- possibilities?
OK, I did a search and it seems that my pump is dying. My question is could a plugged fuel filter (I have two b/t the carb and pump) cause excessive backpressure and have caused/be causing my pump problems? Should I pull out the hard filter and leave in only my in-line paper filter? It's a stock pump and a Q-jet, btw. Any help is mucho appreciated!
Jason

replace the pump and filters, the pumps are onlt like 15 bucks or so, and if it leaks its done. go ahead and replace the filters for peace of mind.
