Re: Modern wheels - Classic 4x4

I got the old school wagon wheels and then the Mickey thompson I like them off set a little bit and wider then stock lol. But I would never run anything bigger then a 17" rim or any of that new blingy rims on any of my trucks just don't look right IMHO

my buddy has 20 inch rockstars on 37's on his '04. the bigger tires make them look smaller.

by the way your truck is the only lifted single cab shortbox I have ever liked

Anyone have more pics of our trucks with the M&T Classic Lock II's. I'm thinking about getting those and running with a black lock ring.

The truck in the 4th picture. Ive seen it before on some other forum. Does this belong to a member here? It's a bad ass looking truck. I wonder what the lift and tire specs are.

Could you please tell me the lift amount, tire spec, rim width and backspacing if you have that info? This truck is great!

Re: Modern wheels - Classic 4x4

i personally like some not all modern wheels on classics it depends on the application and what you wan i personally love mine. i have an 85 k10 with 17x9 pro comp 6005 wheels on mine they were bored out to fit the off sets perfect the hole was barelly to small which i knew when i orderd. they are wrapped with a cooper zeon ltz 265/70/17

<a href="http://s1106.photobucket.com/albums/h361/tytheguy1451/?action=view&amp;current=lilwhileafter-1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1106.photobucket.com/albums/h361/tytheguy1451/lilwhileafter-1.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

what do you guys and galls think? im also wondering about a lil lift maybe just enough to get a 34 or 35" cause i can fit 33s now.

Re: Modern wheels - Classic 4x4

Personally, I'm not a fan of any wheel over 17" on an old truck. They look too flashy, and big chrome wheels are a huge turn off. No offense to anyone who likes 'em though!

I have a set of American Racing Outlaw II's on my F250, too bad they're 8 lug, because I would rock them out on my K10. I also have a set of American Racing AR-23's for the F250. They look really good on lifted K10's. Stock 15" rally wheels look killer when mounted on 35" tires on a truck that's lifted. As a matter of fact, I just completed my set of Rally wheels so now all I have to do is find tires for it

I'll post pics of my wheels on the F*** later today! (Too dark to get any pics right now)

I like the old school wheels on older trucks, I just picked up a set of 15x8 4x4 rally wheels for my K10.
