Re: Dale_Brown BT 72 SWB K10

Had to take the old girl to save this cab. It was heading to the scrap yard. Has the section over the windshield I need and great floors. It has very unusual rust in the lower passenger firewall.

Going to cut the roof off at the post and re-weld it to my other cab. Guess I need to fill my Argon bottle

Sure get alot of thumbs up when driving the 72!

Hi Dale! Welcome to the board. I'll be following along on your build. Looks like you have a good starting point since it's up and running.

Re: Dale_Brown BT 72 SWB K10

Can't say I do. I once lived up near Hagerstown and there are a few places up in that area where it is possible to still get items. Check in on the Maryland site for others in the area that could possibly help. I have 2 '69 units - one I use for home improvement and dump runs, the other is ready for the installation of a freshly overhauled 396BB. My issue is I don't have a garage or hard surfaces to work on it at my house.

I look forward to seeing your build and meeting you!

Bringing the build site back to life!

Just picked up the final drive line parts for the 4 speed swap. Thanks to the help I have received from the 67/72 board she will be coming apart this winter!
