Trucks With BuddyBucket Seat ???

I put BuddyBuckets in my 72 short fleet way back when and installed carpet across the gas tank and I like the look .

Now Im about to start the build on my Blue 70 Patina Short Stepper and have Blue Houndstooth BuddyBuckets for it but its going to be LS Powered and a Boyd Welding tank under the bed . You guys got any ideas on how to put carpet on the inside rear of cab ? What came on 67/8 trucks with those seats behind there ?

Hey flashed, do you have a pic of your buddy buckets? Curious about the blue houndstooth cause I was gonna do something similar. When I removed my tank, I used that space for my amps and rear speakers.

BTW... I bought my buddy buckets from you, but I've never met you as my buddy picked them up for me.

Since the gas tank was there on 67/68s and yours won't have one you'll need to do something different. The factory screwed carpet using grommets. You might do that but you'll need a way to hold the rest of it against the back wall. I'd ask an upholstery guy for suggestions. I see people use adhesive but I'd rather see some sort of mounting strips for the carpet to fasten to, if you can find a way to fasten those

Steve , I have pics but can not post them . My seats are really nice and I cant wait to build the truck for them to go in . I can text pics if you provide a number . I have one more spare set of BuddyBuckets that both sides fold forward . Was saving them for a project but have since abandoned those plans and selling off extra projects that I dont plan to move forward on now .

Yes Tim , I agree , I dont want to glue the carpet to the back wall of my cab so I will ask my upholstery guy when I pick up my lowback buckets for my 79 Big 10 Bonanza in a few days .
